More About Environmental Service Laboratories, Inc

Environmental Service Laboratories, (ESL) was incorporated in 1988, with only two employees, in Indiana, Pennsylvania. The lab began sampling and analyzing purveyor wells and springs for conventional gas well drillers in Pennsylvania while operating out of an office located in the Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Small Business Incubator. In 1989, the lab started analyzing samples for oil and natural gas operators to preserve their defense per the PA Oil & Gas Act. Environmental Services Labs then went through 10 years of major changes starting in 1991 by adding qualifications to analyze drinking water and water associated with mining activities.
