Expense Tool Provides Secure Online Reimbursement Process for HCPS and Other Non-Employees

BCD Meetings & Events launches newest producton the MeetingSourceTM platform

 

CHICAGOJune 19, 2018– BCD Meetings & Events (BCD M&E) has launched its second key product on their MeetingSource by BCD Meetings & EventsTM  platform, Expense, which provides a secure, intuitive and efficient process for capturing, verifying and reporting non-employee expense reimbursements.

“The challenge with non-employee reimbursements has traditionally been the cost associated with providing a license to an internal expense system or the time and effort involved in a manual submission, verification and reimbursement process,” said Ted Stone, SVP, Global Technology & Products.“MeetingSourceTM Expense provides the attendee, from HCPs to speakers to VIPs, a straight-forward and secure means to submit their expense data while providing our clients an elevated level of data accuracy and compliance confidence.”

MeetingSourceTM Expense can be loaded with attendees from any registration system and configured at the individual meeting level with expense categories and sub categories to streamline the user experience and ensure compliance. That data can then be easily exported to acsv; and in future updates, data can be extracted via an API for integration directly into the customers AP system, allowing for easy transference of data.

“Key benefits to customers are automation, flexible configuration per meeting, but most importantly, the service checkpoint and verification of accuracy to wrap around the technology," said Jeannie Griffin, VP, Product & Technology Solutions. The Expense tool is web-based and mobile friendly, making it convenient for users to upload their expenses as they incur them—at the end of each day or once they’re back in the office.
